Varnish Oil on Walnut Fruit Bowl

Sandy Renna from Massachusetts was kind enough to submit a photo of a bowl that he made. Because of Tried & True’s ability to highlight the grains and bring out the natural beauty of the wood, it has become Sandy’s new favorite and primary finish to use his wood turning projects. In addition to the look and feel of the wood, the Varnish Oil contains a pine sap resin that hardens over time to give excellent scratch and abrasion resistance. Above is an example of Sandy’s work where he used our Tried & True Varnish Oil used on a black walnut fruit bowl.
